Event Description
This group will be facilitated by two licensed professional counselors and will meet two times monthly on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month. It is a support group in which women with this common experience may share their thoughts and feelings related to the life, death, and current impact of the loss of their mother. Group sharing is confidential. The agenda for our first group gathering will include a time for introductions, establishing some group norms that will ensure members of the safety of the group, and talking together about the agendas for coming sessions.
It is so important for each interested participant to call Khris Ford ahead of time to just visit on the phone. This will help us be certain that each person is appropriate for the group and will be able to get what they need from the group experience. Also, preparations for the group are only possible if the facilitators know who is coming. Please call: 347-7878 and leave a message for Khris.
