Voice Platform and Support Network for Families of Missing and Victims of Crime
Sick and tired of criminals hiding behind computer screens and posting illegal material, such as obscene, pornographic, threatening, abusive and other not merely annoying but downright criminal content? Tired of impersonations, fake profiles, hackers, scams, and cyberbullying? Yes, there are "Report" buttons on many sites now, but how many of us have expressed dissatisfaction that "flagging" illegal content does not really get the results we want? That we often cannot properly submit reports and the reports we submit do not reach law enforcement?
A new cause was created yesterday, January 20, 2012, to urge us all who use social networks to add our voices to a new effort to provide a superior, more effective reporting system on all social networking sites. The cause also includes an international petition. This cause is called: "Please Install an Option to Report Illegal Content on All Social Networking Sites."
