Thank you. I've been off and on the phone all day with his brother-in-law whose home Bud lives in. The family is frantic.
Poor guy! I hope he is ok! Is Independence a big city or small town?
I'd say medium, not too far from Kansas City.
They have had the helicopters up not sure about the dogs, probably.
Yes on foot. I doubt he had a flashlight on him.
I heard from Bud's brother-in-law this morning and Bud is still missing.
The family of James "Bud" Lee Kinder just phoned me and if they are getting the story correctly Bud walked up to a police officer and said he wanted to go home. He apparently was hanging around at the Walmart clear out southside of Kansas City on Sate Line Road. This is a very long distance from his home in Independence. How he got there is a mystery at the moment.
Thus is the importance of these missing cases being highlighted by media with photos.
Ed, Bud's brother--in-law, said they are getting the info 3rd hand so they don't know exactly how this happened but they do know he is alive and they are on their way to be reunited with him.
He talked a little of the emotional hell they have been through, something many of us know, I listened as his tears flowed. He and his wife did great, did better than many families as they reached out for help right away.
They were also very blessed with great police cooperation.
So happy and relieved that at this moment they are on their way to be reunited with Bud.
Oh that is so good! :)
