Good Morning Everyone!
I received this email from the Runaway Squad asking for help to spread the word about Letticia. Who else would I turn to for help but Peace4? I'm hoping that anyone with a blog will post Letticia's flyer. If you do post Letticia's flyer, please send an email (please include the link to your blog) to jkresearcher@gmail.com letting them know Peace4 the Missing cares.
Praying for the Missing - Today, Tomorrow & Always
Grace
Hello,
We have been trying to locate Letticia Lopez, a teen runaway that has been missing since May, and we think some media outreach may help in finding her. She may be in danger, and we are desperately trying to find her. I would very much appreciate it if you could post something about this case, or forward it on to a site that will. Her information is below, and attached is her flyer and also a picture of her.
Letticia Lopez (age 14) is an endangered runaway last seen mid-day on May 27, 2009 at school; Eleanor Roosevelt I.S. 143M located at 182nd Street and Audubon Avenue in New York City. Her family has not heard from her since that time. On the day she ran away she was wearing black pants, a white uniform shirt, a red and white sweater and gray, black and beige timberland boots. Her ears are pierced and she frequently wears two gold bracelets and a crucifix necklace. She has shoulder length dark hair and sometimes wears glasses. She has a mole on her left nostril.
She may use the nickname Letty and speaks both English and Spanish and may still be in the metropolitan New York area. There have been possible sightings in Bronx and Brooklyn, NY.
Weeks after her disappearance, Letticia’s mother received suspicious phone calls from individuals seeking money in exchange for her whereabouts. Her family (including extended family in Philadelphia,) is distraught and needs your help.
Private Investigator Joe Mazzilli, former NYPD detective and founder of the nonprofit organization R.A.P. (Runaways Assistance Program,) has been working with the family pro-bono and is asking for any tips or information that may help in recovering this child. There is reason to believe Letticia is in extreme danger.
I’m a researcher for a private investigation firm that is doing pro bono work on this case. We often are able to help families free of charge through our non-profit arm, Runaway Assistance Program (RAP). If it’s appropriate, please also post our hotline number (below) so that people in need of help can connect with us. Thank you.
If you or anyone you know needs help finding a runaway or has information on the whereabouts of a runaway, please call: 1-877-4A-RUNAWAY (1-877-427-8629).
