Welcome, we are so glad you are here, please share a bit to a lot about yourself, what brought you here as well as any social awareness issue and/or missing persons case that you would like to highlight at Peace4 the Missing.

My name is Merry, I live in Iowa. I found Peace4 about 3 weeks ago, when I was organizing a volunteer search effort for a family of a 28 year old college student, who had been missing for 2 weeks. The police were little help to the family and with the help of about 20 volunteers, we found the missing man just 3 1/2 hours after our search started. My heart had gone out to this family and we were able to help them get closure and put their son to rest. I got involved with Peace4 because you all are wonderful people who really care about the missing. At this time I am working on forming a volunteer core group to help with searches across the United States. Thank you all for your help, when I asked for organizational tips, you were there with suggestions. Without people like you, many families would never have the support that they need. Bless you all!

Hi, my life was touched by Melissa Alaniz, a beautiful young girl that is missing and presumed killed during the El Paso Northeast Desert murders in 1987. David Leonard Wood has been convicted of these murders, and sits on Death Row. There is a lot of controversy surrounding this case, and my goal is to get the case reopened. I am convinced that Mr. Wood is either innocent or did not work alone or had a copy cat. There are at least three girls still missing (that we know of) including Melissa. I am looking to help all of us affected by these brutal crimes to get some closure. There are too many inconsistencies to this case, and too many leads not followed for this case to be considered closed. Please help me with ideas, information, or anything that you think could help. Another life is at stake here, and the evidence against him is shoddy and inconclusive. I am not saying that Mr. Wood is an innocent man, I am saying that he deserves a fair trial. I just want the Truth, the Whole Truth, and Nothing But The Truth, So Help Me God. Please help!!!

I still remember Melissa as she looked the very last day I saw her, the day she went missing...I just would like her to be able to finally come home.
