Please pray for my Dad, in May of this year he was diagnosed with AML Leukemia, which he courageously with such strength fought and beat...as of the beginning of this month we were told he was in remission. However, his blood counts today are showing an alarmingly high jump in his white blood cells, which often means that the cancer is back, he'll have his bone marrow test on Monday to find out for sure what's going on.

So, bottom line...I'm not ready to be without my Daddy already and I truly do believe in miracles and the power of prayers, so...please pray for my Dad.

thanks,

Maggie's Rose
(Sara)

Always expect a miracle where Odie is concerned! He is a man who trusts fully in God and God will reward his true and faithful servant. May God send healing to Odie and the whole family and let them know that He will never give them more than what they can bear. Love to you all........

I will be praying for you & your dad. Never underestimate the power of prayer. When my son was 13 he was diagnosed with a rare type of large cell non hodgkins lymphoma. They did all these tests & told us he was stage 4 - terminal!!! I thought OMG no... he's just a young boy. I had lost my god daughter to A L L when she was just 10 1/2 months old & that was extremely hard on me, then they tell me my son is terminal. Well, they started him on an experimental protocol of chemo, we took him to church & the whole church prayed over him... 5 weeks later when they did more testing he was in remission - no sign of the cancer anywhere!! He will be 32 next month & we still think of him as a miracle. Knock on wood almost 20 years now & no signs of the cancer returning. Praise God!!! Keep The Faith... I am praying as I write this.

They took a bone marrow test of my Dad today, his White Blood Counts were up even higher than before...which is not good at all, they'll probably hear back the inevitable news for sure tomorrow, which is my birthday...

And, I am so sad, because I love him so much! And this is my first birthday as a (soon to be) single Mom and...I'm just a little annoyed with God right now for dumping everything at once...but, I think He understands my feelings and loves me still, which is the best gift of all... ;)

Maggie, my thoughts and prayers are with you now and always. You as so many here are going through such difficult and trying times but as you have always told us, we have each other. That, my dear, is because of you and your kind and compassionate heart. We are here for you!!
Happy Birthday Maggie, I know it's hard but I celebrate this day because I am a part of this wonderful place because of you and for that I am forever grateful.
