Please share this plea from a mother of a case that has now been resolved:
"To all that can help,
I have just been informed by CUE that my son that was missing for 12 years is still on many sites and still listed as missing. If you run across this would you please notify the web sites that he is no longer missing? His name is Jacob Wayne Whitt, DOB- 2-3-1977, missing Jan. 1998...we were informed in June of 2010 that he had been laying in a John Doe grave in Grand Prarie, Texas for most of the 12 years we searched for him....Thank You for anyone that can help with this issue."

This should never happen to begin with - 12 years of torture - we have the technology and means now to avoid these living hell situations - it's time to get on it and coordinate and use them .... we need a Presidential candidate with a missing loved one - can you imagine what great change that just isn't possible would miraculously occur if we did??

Well, I would not want that to be a prerequisite for being President; I would not wish a missing loved one on anyone, including a politician and even one I don't like! But they DO NEED awareness and, in my humble opinion, it is possible to develop empathy and be sensitive to fam,ilies of the missing. Maybe what is needed is for the Candidates to observe PEACE4 and learn.

I am so sorry to hear about your missing son. This is not acceptable to keep an entire family and freinds suffering for 12 years.
We need to raise our voice to the authorities at local, state, and federal levels to listen and do something to remedy this epidemic social issue.
May Jacob Wayne Whitt rest in peace!
