Permalink Reply by Gina Schuster on May 18, 2011 at 3:24pm JUSTICE FOR JOE: JOSEPH HELT, AGE 17 HAS BEEN MISSING SINCE JANUARY 16, 1987 FROM ELLENVILLE NY
http://www.facebook.com/Justice.For.Joe.Helt
Joe was a Junior in hig
h school in 1987 when he went to a party on a typical Friday night, Jan. 16, 1987. Later in the night he went for a ride with three acquaintances, John LaForge, Kelly Diaz and Wade Marks. These 3 acquaintances claim that their car got stuck in a ditch on Sam's Point Road in Cragsmoor (about 5 miles from Ellenville). They claim that Joe left to walk the 5 miles back to Ellenville (when 2 of them and the location where the party was were all within 2 miles of where they claim that the car got stuck). The 3 later walked home (within 2 miles) and made it safely. Joe was never seen again. He's been missing for 24 years.
