Please participate by reading what others shared as well as sharing your own "thankful today for" blessings below..

Thanksgiving is quickly approaching. This is a time for reflecting on our good friendships, loving families, precious friends, and life's bounty.

What are you (most) thankful for today?

Try to make a commitment to think of one new thing each day from now until Thanksgiving to share here at Peace4 in a comment below...it will be a good 'be thankful for' reminder to yourself and great 'encouragement tool' to others too!

*I'm doing this via my facebook status area as well... ;)

I am thankful for health. In January 2008 my husband of 50 years was given 6 months to live. Liver cancer. Almost 2 years later... He had chemo for 6 months, 3/4 of his liver removed in June 2009. And has been given another lease on live. There is nothing he cannot do what he did before his surgery
Families are very important to us.

I'm thankful for: some loyal friends, some caring relatives, people I've met who are making a difference, comedy, music, the opportunities I've had to help meaningful organizations, the good times and hardships from recent years, and people who've helped me to be more grateful.

I am thankful for blessings given by God, never to take them lightly and realize it could be all taken away in an instant. I am thankful for family, friends whether it be home or throughout the country. Sites such as Peace4 to exchange thoughts and help one another through the hurdles of life. I am thankful for the law enforcement who actually care and help as much as possible. I am thank you for the PI in our life and the journalist who seem to understand the problems in our country and stand up and write about it.
This is a tough world we love in but every one has angels surrounding them look for the good and recognize it. I am grateful to be able to express my thoughts and still be able to profess my Faith in God.

Wow! What a question. Thanks for asking the question. I am thankful that God saved my heart and soul so that I could feel love and gratitude! These are the differences in my life that allow me to be a survivor and thriver not a victim.

Thank you to all of the administration here who keep this site going so that on the really tough days I can come here and read even if I cant respond! You are all awesome the way you keep things going and also share your lives with us!

Thank you to all of the supporters whose lives have led them to help the missing, abused, unidentified and the families of these groups. You are all awesome the way you support and help without asking for anything in return!

Thank you to all of the people who are here because they are one of the above mentioned! Your lives like mine have taken turns that are not easy! Things are not what we ever imagined they would be! This club is one with members who probably all wish they did not belong! And yet your strength and love are so encouraging! You are a very special group who deserve all the love and hope and prayers that can be summoned!

I am thankful for all of my friends here and in the world! I am thankful for my children! I am thankful for my grandchildren! I am thankful to be alive! I am thankful for my PI! (notice how those rhymed? lol)

Love you all

WELL POSTING THIS HERE CAUSE I CAN'T FIND THE WHAT MAKES YOU SMILE BLOG~ WANTED YOU ALL TO SEE THIS~ PIANO DUET~
This is so cute I just had to send it to you all. Shows what old age can still mean.
An old couple walked into the lobby of the Mayo Clinic and spotted a piano. They've been married for 62 years and he'll be 90 this year.

"Too bad dental x-rays aren't a standard booking feature when someone is arrested." That would be a great idea. Not only for LE to find the criminals; to know they are dead instead of continuing searching for them; but even if someone is a crimin...
