Yesterday I was on the expressway going to meet my daughter for lunch when I got this idea. I thought I would bring it here to see if we want to try to do something like this as a group. I'm not sure the cost but I think it could be worth it.

I hate bumper stickers I just don't like them but I was thinking of having a magnet made for the car with the peace4 website on it. Or possibly something to put in the back window.

Think of the exposure this could bring.

I would like to hear what others think about the idea. At any rate I think I am going to design one for my car and have it printed up and see what happens.

I had magnettic bumperstickers made. They are a little expensive but they are much nicer than stick-ons. Something for the window might be nice, but make sure the ink is a quality that won't fade in the sunlight.
Not a bad idea.
That sounds like a really good idea and would really help with awareness about this website. I have so many stickers on my car though that Im not sure I could fit another one on! Maybe some buttons or tshirts as well.
I am looking for pricing and I just found static window clings, now that may be the way to go. They could go right on the rear window. I'll report back what I find out. I am going to e-mail for a quote :)
that is a good idea the more people that see picture of the missing the better your magnat may find a lost kid, judy
I think this would be a great idea -let me know what the cost -could you do one that said peace4the missing and then the picture of the individual? When I looked into some time back about a magnat it was $75.00

I looked into one place here in town and it was around 59 for a pair. When i asked about a bulk rate he said 20 or more would be about 30 + or so. We discussed the cling window stickers as well however it seems they would cost around the same but have more drawbacks. I asked him if we could individually order online and he said yes that he would print a few at a time to keep on hand and then print as needed for the same price.

It seems that there are things to consider with the magnets and the cling stickers regarding the cars and the sizes of the windows and the door panels. As for the magnets there is a better chance that we can get them for most cars. However some doors are plastic but he said all cars have metal fenders.

Another thing is there can't be any trim going under the magnet or it would blow off so he suggested a 9" height and we were looking at about 9 x 22 or 24 long.he said that should fit most car doors.

I still want to check with some others suppliers but I'm sure the cost will be comparable.

$30.00 a pair sounds reasonable to me.

We also discussed like a 4' x 4" magnet of the logo with the website that can be used for other things as well. He said he would include that in the package too for the discount.

So let me know what you all think and what it should say. I just made a rough drat to show him an idea but wasn't sure what to put on it.

here is a sample of what I showed him but we need to come up with what we would like it to say.
We are talking about three lines and a graphic!

I see I should add a border around it :)
this is great-keep me posted
sorry so long in answering this-I guess with what you have we would have to do is mainly name, dob, and who to contact-maybe missing since etc. Just short and sweet with the picture - what do you think?
Did you ever get the poster made for your car? I took and put pictures that you made and put on my car and am making a trip to CA in May so want to hand out posters at rest stops. I would be happy to hand out posters for you also if you wanted to send me one. Got a age progression from Phojoe.com and they did a great job-posted it on my photos. Still waiting for the S.O. age progression picture which has been an ongoing project for awhile-they started on it Jan 28.
