very interesting..thought provoking question!
hmmm...David Lee Roth..'Tobacco Road', Three Doors Down..'Here Without You'..'When You Walk Thru A Storm'..'I Will Remember You'.........
What would we do without music?? Songs, like the stars and the moon, and the ever-changing seasons, are reminders that someone I love is missing, and time doesn't heal this wound. Time continues to tick and the minutes turn into years with more questions than answers, which make music and the stars and the moon and the birthdays as life goes on, a way to survive. Songs also bring back memories of 'when' and it's as if my heart is filled with such a purpose and a reason and an overwhelming sense of 'knowing' that someday, there will be answers and another song will be sung
I'm living 2 lives now. The one before trauma and the one with trauma. My theme song would be totally different pre trauma. Now I'm not sure there is a song that has been created to express or define a theme in my life.
I agree with Sarah T...it is a thought provoking question!

How long have I been in this storm?
So overwhelmed by the ocean's shapeless form
Water's getting harder to tread
With these waves crashing over my head
If I could just see you
Everything would be all right
If I'd see you
This darkness would turn to light
And I will walk on water
And you will catch me if I fall
And I will get lost into your eyes
I know everything will be alright
I know everything is alright
I know you didn't bring me out here to drown
So why am I ten feet under and upside down
Barely surviving has become my purpose
Cause I'm so used to living underneath the surface
If I could just see you
Everything would be all right
If i'd see you
This darkness would turn to light
And I will walk on water
And you will catch me if I fall
And I will get lost into your eyes
And everything will be alright
And I will walk on water
You will catch me if I fall
And I will get lost into your eyes
I know everything will be alright
I know everthing is alright
Oh This is An Easy One for Me~ The theme song for " Take me Away To The Funny Farm "
Plain and simple......
hahahahhohohohohoheheheheheh to the funny farm with me.......
Angel..you are too funny..LOL..LOl..Actually I hate that song ! My oldest step-brother (Who I disowned 35 years ago) used to sing that song constantly when I was a teenager !It used to drive me crazy..I think he wanted to send me to the funny farm !!! Actually it was a funny song and it figures you would like it ..LOL..I LOVE YOU HON! ALWAYS...john
I've always felt the best theme song would be the music behind "Nights in White Satin" by the Moody Blues. Even as a child...that song represented me...not the words...the music. The brilliance of the powerful tune that represents (to me) the light and happy moments of my life...and the deep thundering and whirling sounds of some of the hardships I've experienced...always encircling...always wonderful joyful moments, celebrations in life, of life... as well as sad times. To me the tune represents life...no matter whose. Love the music and it is "my theme." The beginning tune reminds me of birth...new life...and the music escalates throughout different times in life from teen years through adulthood. The ending is almost reminiscent of the coming of end of life. Let me know what you think:
Cyndi..I too love this song ! I like the words also.I remember when it came out as I was a teenager in the 60's.You're right about the ending. My end is also nearing..I hope I go out with a bang. With much love...ALWAYS....john
i have a few too on would be ma ma im coming home(ozzy osbourne),owner of a lonely heart (yes), Ride like the wind (Christoper Cross)and Real love (doobie brothers.....
And if I can just put this out there: Every time I hear "Brown Eyed Girl" from Van Morrison I think of Laci Peterson. It was her favorite song. I think of her, her baby boy and especially her mother; the one grieving every day; the one left behind. My heart aches for her - I just can't imagine.
One More Day was Linda Miller's song she had on her son Jeffrey Ben's website. Jeffrey was found two years ago. Linda picked his bones up on the top of a mountain............
Yeah...One More Day is a good one.....
and I pray and I believe as we all do that.........'In The Arms Of The Angels'..............is that one by Sarah McLaughlin??
some days i cannot listen to music at all...but most days it is a comfort to me. writing is my therapy and of course, here on Peace4.
I pray you find your daddy, Kathleen. How are you? I think of you often. Sarah

Yes. I'm very excited over this new cold case unit too. I hope justice is served and her mom, sister and family can have peace with justice. I cannot imagine the pain of not knowing. My prayers to them, always.
We are all praying for Jim! He and his family have worked hard to help many families and victims, including those abused by law enforcement officers who have had nowhere to turn for help. His comfort and joy brings hope to many who are dealing with…
