I am here thanks to Jan Smolinski, she heard about me from Mr. Kelly, my son was missing for about a year when I met her by phone. I like it here because I like reading everyones stories, and makes me feel like I am not the only one going through this frustration, sadness, emptiness. I still can't find my son and the authorities just don't make it any better. But thanks to you all this is where I could feel a little better.

I don't remember exactly how i found Peace4, but i believe it was through google, when i was looking for missing children organisations. What brought me here was the realization of how often children go misssing or become exploitation victims. I wanted to have the possibility to be informed as soon as possible, and for as many as possible, missing or exploited childrens' cases. I also found here many articles concerning safety tips and tips on how to refer to a person that deals with such a difficult situation. Even though i am from Greece and i cannot support you on your "legal" races, i absolutely respect your dedication to everyone that needs Peace4, for whatever reason.

Well, if you put it that way, Sara:)...I'm here to be of support to those who are or have experienced missing people in their lives. I have not and I'm grateful for that beyond measure. I started off RTing missing childrens information on twitter, then continued because that person stopped. I stopped later because of time issues. Currently my friend and I are writing a book about safety for women, which includes some informationa bout missing people and other related issues, so the topic is on my mind. I also keep a watch on various shows from Investigation Discovery, that catch my interest. I'm not in the position to help via LE because that isn't my field, but giving support here and through other groups, and building awareness through our book, is something I can do.

We are here because we began looking for support when Jesse went missing.  We searched the internet for anyone who dealt with issues of the missing.  We found Peace4, who deals with many issues, domestic abuse, death and abandonment, etc.  There seems to be someone here willing to work with any issue that afflicts the human heart. Peace4 is more than a resource, it is a group of real people willing to be there for all of us.  Probably the worst part of being a 'missing' family is the feeling you are alone.  We have found here a link to other 'missing' families as well as individuals who are here simply because they care.  Until we find Jesse, or what happened to Jesse,we will know we won't be alone.Jesse Ross
