Jami is my Daughters name, she is 31yrs old and has had a drug problem for some time now. She had 6 beautiful children with her husband who also has a drug addiction to crack cocaine. They both have lost their parental rights and the children are being adopted by a family friend. Jami has taken off before and ended up in New Mexico where terrible things happened to her. When she came home we made a deal that no matter what she was doing or where she was she would let me know she was okay. She has kept her word and for the first month she was in Vegas she called everyday or so to let me know where she was staying. On New Years Eve she got in an arguement with the guy she went out there with and he left town without her. She called for money so she could get a room and her x mother in law wired her some. The last person to talk to her was her mother in law. We have not heard from her since. There are people she usually contacts regularly and we have spoken with them and no one has heard from her. I am always worried about her but this time is different because she wasn't using when I spoke with her last and she was in good spirits. Her mother in law told us she was going to try and get a job at some bar down the street from where she was but we have no idea where she was at that time. I do have the phone number saved that she last called from but when I try to call it sounds like a fax machine. Now you know her story you can see why I have no faith in the police putting any effort into trying to locate her. She is still my daughter and a mother of six and we still love her and want to know she is alright.
Hello and good afternoon Cindy. By way of introduction, my name is Lisa and my daughter who has been missing for 3 months was just found. Christina Hinderer
I just want you to know that the fax machine sound means that you were dialing a payphone. It doesn't allow reverse calls. You are able though, to call the local police station in that area code (this may be gotten from information [411]) and they will give you the location of that payphone. You will have to explain that you are looking for your lost family member and they are usually pretty quick about getting this information for you.
Just wanted to say thank you all for your help and support. I feel like no one will care about her because of her past. I did file a missing persons report, though it wasn't easy getting them to understand she was last seen in Las Vegas. They kept telling me I had to file in Oklahoma since the last time I saw her was here. I did finally get it into their heads she was last seen in Vegas. They didn't seem to show much interest, but thanks to Dalilahs contact Frank Mahoney he is going to be a great help. Thank you all for caring it feels great to know someone does care for Jami. Please remember no matter what she has done she is still a daughter,a mother, and very much loved. Cindy
Frank has been a great help so far, I really got the feeling he cared. They haven't assigned me a detective as of yet but they have called back twice tonight to find out additional information. I guess I don't need to tell any of you how scary it is to see that number on your caller ID. My heart aches for her.
I sure hope they do not assign a defective that sounds like Moron, He doesnt know how to use a computer or cell phone and doesnt even respond to his anchient pager. As for Frank Mahoney, he is a gruff straight shooter with a heart of gold! With the search for my son Trevor Morse he was (and still is) invaluable.My heart and prayers go out to you.

Cindy - I think it is very unfair when authorities believe someone is NOT in danger because they have a history of runnign away or of drug abuse or various other things. Danger is danger and it can happen to anyone at any time especially with the most vulnerable like your daughter. It boggles my mind when someone is missing and we hear - "oh maybe they don't want to be found".
Hi all;
Your prayers are overwhelming. Thank you all for the advice on the SSD. Jim has worked since he was 14 until injuries in Dec 2006. Jim got out some today. He is slow, headachy, a little slurred, and just seems to take his time.

Yes. I'm very excited over this new cold case unit too. I hope justice is served and her mom, sister and family can have peace with justice. I cannot imagine the pain of not knowing. My prayers to them, always.
We are all praying for Jim! He and his family have worked hard to help many families and victims, including those abused by law enforcement officers who have had nowhere to turn for help. His comfort and joy brings hope to many who are dealing with…
I just count my own lucky stars- I had a terrible car accident in 1988 but recovered and then in 1999 was hit by a car and other than some neck and back aches, am fine. It wasn't until I saw a Physiatrist (dr of rehabilitative medicine) that I was f…

Thanks for providing that information John. I am sorry to hear that you are suffering from a disability as well but am glad that you finally got the assistance that you need. With love, Maggie
Margaret and Carolyn..SSD lawyers only get paid if they win for you.Usually they get about 20% of the total owed you or 5,300,which ever is less.If a lawyer takes your case you can be pretty sure you will win.First you have to go to one of their Drs…
