Rick,

Can you describe a little bit about what that person looked like that was at the rest area??? This could be a missing person. As I found out the police and courts don't care if someone is mentally ill as long as they are breathing and walking they don't care to reunite them with their families and give the families the power to get them help. Someone lost in their own mind is not capable of making decisions for themselves. And, they become easy prey to all the evil out there.

On a trip several weeks ago ( I think Saturday Jan 2 2010),I came across a young lady in a rest area in New Mexico on Route 25 Northbound @ 114 mile marker. This person was acting psychotic and was un -approachable and posed a danger to herself and others ranting and swearing, and talking to herself. Because she had the lights out in the common area of the rest rooms I could not get a clear description of this person.
Fearing that she would do herself or others harm I called (911) and reported her to the Socorro NM police dispatcher; they replied they would have an officer in route. I waited over an hour and no police showed up, during that time I redirected other users of the facility away.
After an hour I dialed (411) and spoke with the dispatcher’s supervisor who stated that the rest area was not in their jurisdiction. I again called (411) and got connected with the New Mexico State Police who patrol that area; the dispatcher stated that a supervisor had already spoken to the young lady about her problems. I stated that I was concerned with her mental health and that someone needed to take custody of her for her and others sake. The dispatcher stated that she would re-dispatch the same supervisor.
I was already late for a service call appointment so I had to continue on, without knowing the outcome.

Connecticut has ANOTHER MISSING MALE This person lived in NY Ticonderoga BUt was commuting/working in Connecticut -Cody King from Ticonderoga New York
Worked in Construction was working in New Haven, CT I believe . Family is apphrehensive, upset, frightened and confused. Jan SMolinski and her husband have been providing help, contacts and support as well as assisting on the weekend searches He went missing in April in the vicinity of RT 91 exit 48 or 49 Enfield Connecticut
ANy commuiters/ideas.support will be greatly appreciated I am sure!
It's just unbelieveable totally unreal that we keep losing PEOPLE!!!! Are their HUMAN VULTURE organizations or something out there, like packs of wolves, circling and circling ready to grab humans at a moments notice or what?
