Tionda and Diamond Bradley

Tionda and Diamond Bradley from the South Side of Chicago, disappeared from their home in the city’s Bronzeville neighborhood on July 6, 2001. They were last seen that morning sleeping on the living room couch before their mother, Tracey Bradley, left for work. Tracey said when she returned home a few hours later Tionda and Diamond were gone, and a note was left on the couch in Tionda’s handwriting. The note said the girls were going to a local store and a local playground. Family members are convinced Tionda was coached to write the note, which helped to fuel their suspicions that the abductor was a person Tionda and Diamond knew.
