Search Continues For Missing Teen

Roxanne Paltauf has been missing since July 7, 2006, but her family and friends are still hoping that she will return home safely.

Cops in Austin, Texas, say Roxanne was staying with her boyfriend at a Budget Inn hotel in the 8000 block of I-35. Police say they got into an argument and Roxanne walked out of the hotel, leaving behind all her belongings. It was approximately 9:00 p.m, and that was the last time anyone saw the teenager.

Cops: Roxanne Would Always Contact Family And Friends

On Saturday, July 8, 2006, a Missing Person report was filed with the Austin Police Department and search teams started combing the area for clues. But there was no sign of Roxanne Paltauf.

Detectives got some tips saying that Roxanne may have been seen in the area of Rundberg Lane and I-35 North two days after she disappeared, but their efforts to prove this were unsuccessful.

Cops are worried about Roxanne because she hasn't contacted anybody since she went missing -- something that is very unusual for her.

Roxanne was last seen wearing white shorts, a pink tank top and flip flops.
