Let me come in where you are weeping, friend, And let me take your hand. I, who have known a sorrow such as yours, can understand. Let me come in -- I would be very still beside you in your grief; I would not bid you cease your weeping, friend, Tears bring relief. Let me come in -- and hold your hand...unknown

Thank You for your kind words, uplifter Amy...you are our precious one...xoxoxo

And I agree, many of the grief sites also referenced divorce and abuse as well, thanks so much for mentioning.

Thank you Sara for creating this group. I see this as a valuable place for both the ones grieving, and also for those who struggle with what to say and how to help those going through the process. People are afraid that they may say the wrong thing and often do simply for lack of not knowing.

Some people experience many losses throughout their life so they see and learn what to do and not do. But many people have not yet lost anyone, or have anyone close to them lose anyone these are the people who just don't know what to say or do.

Also it is important for people to understand that people grieve very differently. Some really don't handle grief well and that is hard for people to deal with because they don't understand.

I also want to note as this is also a site for domestic violence that there is also the same grieving process that people go through for the loss of an abusive partner of which they were in love with. Many people don't understand that there may be a need for a special place for those grieving from the loss of a husband or boyfriend, wife or girlfriend that has encountered the effects of a pathological relationship.

For me personally starting my website was my way of working through my grieving process and what got me past it.

You are truly and Angel Sara! You are always thinking of new and better ways to help others and you are so loved by so many.

I made a blog for my Dad and have been kind of using it as my "online therapy" for lack of a better word...
