Elizabeth, Ja'voin was found safe. I post the outcome and leave it up for a few days, but then I remove the listing to protect the privacy of the families.

It is so important when we are dealing with so much horrific news to hear of a happy ending. Thank you for posting Josef's article on his safe return.

As for the problem with the media coverage and the problems with the alert system, what can we do to change that? Is this something we should write our state officials about or the Federal officials? Start a petition or letter writing campaign and if so who do we target?

I am a member of the care2 network which is a very large network of human rights activists and caring people who distribute a lot of petitions. I would love to start a petition on that site to get started if someone would help with writing one I'm not the best at the proper legal terminology. There are many ready, willing, and able people on that network and I will direct them to this site and try to get the ball rolling. Any thoughts on that? :) amy

Many of the children that you hightlight will not get a amber alert or you may not see them on the National Exploited of missing children.
We will always give you correct information. We are in contact with the police department at all times with our children!!!!
Please do not go by other websites with Peas In Their Pods, we will know when a child is found. Most of the time the news doesn't even tell us a child is missing or found.
So look at us as the National exploited of missing children for our kids that don't get the media coverage.

Two days ago Foxnews did a story on 9 missing children. Not one of these children were of color. It really broke my heart.
But when I came into this group this morning my heart was full of tears.
I want to say Thank You to each of you personally. We believe all children are important and precious. It is people like you who make me say "YES" there is hope for our children. There is hope for all children.
