It is so important when we are dealing with so much horrific news to hear of a happy ending. Thank you for posting Josef's article on his safe return.

As for the problem with the media coverage and the problems with the alert system, what can we do to change that? Is this something we should write our state officials about or the Federal officials? Start a petition or letter writing campaign and if so who do we target?

I am a member of the care2 network which is a very large network of human rights activists and caring people who distribute a lot of petitions. I would love to start a petition on that site to get started if someone would help with writing one I'm not the best at the proper legal terminology. There are many ready, willing, and able people on that network and I will direct them to this site and try to get the ball rolling. Any thoughts on that? :) amy

Thank you for this page. I did not know about this alert system and now I do. Looks like i need to get busy and find a really good way to put these things to use. I know i belong to an alert system that lets me know when predators move in to my area and the surrounding areas. I am perfectly aware of the ones that register. How do we find the ones who do not. This is what scares me. We have to be aware of the things out there for us and I feel like you have just brought some new information to our attention. You are a blessing dear person. I appreciate your information and it gives us insight into ways we may not look at when we think of a predator. Your appreciated grately and thanks so much.

There are two things that I have been taught about this that you may or may not know..One of them is how to check online to see if any sexual predators live in your area and where..amazing how some parents find out their school age children walk right by a predators house enroute to school this way and can change that to protect their child and keep temptation away from a predator.
Also if a teenager has to be left at home alone after school because a parent is working, this may be the very thing a predator is trying to scope out and best to know so all doors and windows can be locked.
A second thing...years ago I met a woman online who grew up in a satanic home and became a Christian. She was quite helpful to me in what steps to use to help those in satanism get out of it. During these conversations she also brought up children that were kidnapped and used for satanic rituals. She showed me a calendar online someplace that said the yearly dates of these rituals when children are used and there definately is a coinciding with the increase of missing children at that time and I just shudder knowing that is what happened. She told me this to protect my own family members saying don't let any of them be alone at these times or walking to school or alone for even one moment because the satanists are looking for any children without parents or walking alone to kidnap.
We parents are our childrens first line of defense to protect them and keep them safe and they depend on us to do that very thing..

Delilah, this upsets me because really what it comes down to is people doing their j-o-b right and really giving a dam.I know there are really good people employed trying to do right by these children, but some are stopped for one reason or another. It is not just a paycheck, these are children who need help and have no say in this world.
I wish poeple would just realize if this was one of their family members how would they react? I am sure life would change to upside down for them like it has for most of us.
