How old would Randy be right now? I am just wondering because I was doing searches throughout the state of California last night. I thought you probably do have him on doe network. They are such great people who do such great work. I only aspire to do as great as they. Hugs and blessing new friend.

I think you are right - about prayer. It's just that I feel like I didn't do what I could have done to prevent Ben from spiralling out of control. The last time I spoke to him over the phone, I knew something was wrong. If I had asked him what was going on, or at least have called him back sooner than I did, He might not be gone today. I ignored my gut feeling. Now it's too late.

My husband and I have also hired some different detectives. Like you said, some good, some not-so-good. Now I am counting on the Texas DPS (Missing Person's Clearing House) to help track down an individual. I'm also going to mail fliers to different police dept's so maybe they will post them in their Department. I've been looking up Dallas area police Depts copying addresses. It's slow . If I knew more about computers maybe I could find an easier method. These departments don't leave email addresses that you can send things to. I've also thought of mailing fliers to jails and prisons but I don't know if they would ever get seen or not.

You have probably had your fill of PI's. I will mention someone that I contacted through email who is well known with an honest reputation . Although we are not using him now, I am considering it if certain things don't happen. his name is Kirk Rutherford and he specializes in missing persons ( more like run aways, child abductions by a parent, adoption issues, etc.). Cases like mine are hard.

Here is what he said he could do for me in his email:

"The only thing that we could offer is to run our own Monthly Background/Locate Report. As Licensed Investigators, we have access to information sources that are only available to licensed investigators and law enforcement. Some of our resources are known to our firm only,, they are not what you would know as a company that sells database information. These are what I refer to as "Black Book Sources". These are individuals that we have used for years to assist us in solving extremely difficult cases.

Our sources have led us to the capture of several child abductors and the return of the children not only in the U.S. but also internationally. These cases were solved by us when lawenforcement was unable to locate them. This is not to say that Law Enforcement was negligent in any way, it just meant that our sources were successful prior to their sources being successful.

We would charge $95 per month for running these reports. The reports will key off of the subject's DOB and SS# and provide a history of addresses and any transactions that would be linked to Ben's SS# and/DOB. Again, our reports may turn something up that your law enforcement and detective could miss. You do not have to commit to a certain number of these searches, but I would suggest doing them on a 4 to 6 week basis. If a new address or activity is found, it is wise to catch it as soon as possible. Just as a note, you are provided with a copy of these reports."
