- I've been a member of Survivors of Homicide's Inc since the late 80's I ran my own supprt group for almost 2 years - I sat on the SOH,Inc BOD for 2 years, My mom is 1 of Cue's many cases and My husband and I have also been a safehouse for many in dv situations. I was trying to get my foot in the door at my local dv org- because I want to help others so badly, but Im not ready - I feel Im too raw to follow the proper protocol- Id be just like that woman on the lifetime movie:}

TrackMissing would really like to get your missing loved one listed on our site. Please send us an email (trackmissing@gmail.com), contact me through Peace4 or go to our website www.trackmissing.org and authorize us to do so. We will be holding multiple fund raisers and public awarness events over the next several months and this will increase traffic to our website and get your missing loved ones face out to more people.
If anyone knows how to send this message to all peace4 members please do so. We do not want to overlook a single missing person. Even if you do not wish for us to assist in your case, we will still post the picture and link to the missing persons site. Also, at each event we will profile multiple missing persons for additional exposure.

- I'm sorry to say I haven't been here much lately. I see others have been working their butts off to make Peace4 work! Peace4 is so INSPIRATIONAL, so CREATIVE, so needs to be 501C3/Non-Profit! However, funds are needed to achieve this dream. COLD-HARD-CASH! Yes, times are tough. Me, personally, I have never been this broke in my life. It sucks! I've made a couple of small donations to Peace4 because that's all I could afford. Peace4 members, PLEASE, give what you can!

I know I would be if you was my daughter... As for how long you have been going thru this I really don't know if myself and the Missing Mans mother can keep doing this for years, I know I speak for his mother also when I say this, Derrick's mother says that she stays cold now like she never has before and she tells me that she will never get warm untill we find her son. Talking with the pshyic's that we did really just made us so sad it was like we was letting go of our hope well I wouldnt say letting go more like giving away our hope of ever finding him alive and I know you have some of the feelings that we do of sadness because even if you dont want it to happen your mind starts thinking horriable things that might of happened to your loved one like did they suffer, did they ask the person or persons not to kill them things that everytime I think about it make me sick to my stomach!! Also I dont know how you have been treated by the law enforcement but we have been told by law enforcement some pretty heartless things and not once have they even acted like Derrick is a HUMAN, they have told us of course when we asked if they had went back to the woods where he was last seen walking into to do a search they said "We have been in that area and if he was out there we would of smelt him like he was trash! I just know how good it would feel to hear they even say his name without a change in thier voice but that will not happen that I see, hopefully I'm wrong. It is just so hard when we call and tell them that he is Missing and that he owuldnt of done this to his son that he didnt go more than 3 days without either talking to him or at least his ex- wife now its been a little over 8 months and NOTHING and this is not like Derrick he was such a talker that he cant stop talking I saying this man even talked in his sleep fpr him to be quite this long we know something happened to him!! Also his son doesnt know that he is dad is really Missing and when his grandma trys to tell him that the little boy just says I dont want to talk about it!This little guy is with Derrick's mother every week end and he knows that his dad always called when he knew the little boy was at his moms house to talk to him. Now with Easter last easter the boy was with his dad up in the U P of Michigan where Derrick had moved in the first part of 2008. The only thing that really bothers me is that Derricks mother ask me how is she going to tell this boy that his daddy is dead if that is the case it would kill this boy to hear that!! One other thing maybe you can help me with is how to get where you can have a day without trying a new angle on the case and trying to reach out and get more people to know and hear about this case and to find search teams which we do have the best of the best but I put off things with my little boys and my husband like going to movies and out to eat they go and I stay home to stay on computer to try and find Derrick which thank god that my husband is a good one, but he kinda wants me to work on this all the time because Derrick was my husbands best friend for over 28 years and he wants to find him, but my big thing is this weekend we are going to Boyne Falls Michigan which is about 4.5 hours away from our home to an indoor waterpark to get my kids out on spring break and my husband wants me to just relax and enjoy the time with my family and try to not think about Derrick this weekend at all but I know that I can not do that I know myself and I will be thinking that Derrick should be with his mother and his son spending easter and there is still snow up there and snow makes me sick because I think my god Derrick is laying out there some where cold and all alone and thats really hard to deal with, and I will be thinking that we are only about 2 hours from where Derrick went missing I know I will be looking in the woods around our hotel to see if I see anything and that maybe he is right out there maybe he made it that far and then something happened heck I do it when I just around my house and I know taht there is no way he is out in any woods around here but I always look!! Do you have anything that might help me just for this week end so I might be able to enjoy myself for my kids but the thing is that Derricks ex-girlfriend that he was living with is suppost to bring me somethings of Derrick's for a DNA test and I know when I get that stuff its going to be bad on not only on myself but my husband and my kids too they knew him!!! WHAT TO DO, HOW TO STOP FOR JUST 2 DAYS!!!! THANK YOU JODY
