Lillian has been found alive and well. She is still in hiding. She does not want some family members to know where she is. At this time only her grandmother, Detective Ray and myself know where she is.

Mary......NCIC is the database that only law enforcement can input into.  Ask the detective on the case if he/she has entered Lillian yet and ask them to give you the NCIC# if they have already done so.  Explain to the detective that you are trying to get Lillian entered into NamUs. Don't overwhelm yourself just whittle away at what you can.

Mary....that's what we are here for to hopefully help and make the path easier for the families....thanks not needed.

-Once you get more awareness out on Lillian you are going to have many people come at you under the guise of just wanting to help but who are really horrible people.  I'll try and keep a watch out for you but feel free to ask me or Sara, Peace4's founder, or any of the admins on here if they know anything about the person that is approaching you.  Stay away from the crime (hate) boards as all they do is tear families apart and interfere in investigations.

-When you fill out the NamUs data take care to fill the file in completely.  The beauty of this site is that the families can fill out the data which means you can pack it with more information than the police do on their reports.  Think of things that would make Lillian distinquishable from someone else.  Is there something that she always carries in her pockets or always has on her?  A perfume, a certain brand of lip gloss, a religious medal, etc.

-Many of us have had to conduct searches far from where are loved one went missing.  And it is not uncommon for only 1 or 2 people in a family to carry on the bulk of the search.  Don't hold it against those that don't help, sometimes they just don't know what to do (give them an assingment!) or some emotionally just cannot deal with the search.  Lillian is very lucky to have you and her Mom involved in the search, some missing don't even get that much.

-You might want to look up Malinda Hoyt on Facebook.  Malinda lives in Kansas but is also conducting a search in Florida for her daughter, Emillie Hoyt.  http://www.helpfindemilliehoyt.com/

Mary...I suggest your next step is to get your niece input into http://www.NamUs.gov  You can do that yourself and it is best when family does this as you can fill it out more completely than some stranger doing it for you.  If you have any questions just contact me and I'll help you.  I always suggest people also contact Project Jason (http://www.projectjason.org) as you will be in fantastic hands with that organization.  The founder, Kelly Jolkowski, is the mother of a missing son.  Next step is to get a Facebook page put up as so much awareness can be brought to your niece via Facebook.  It's best if the family does this as you all need to control everything that is put up in place on social networks.  Unfortunately people thinks its real fun to prey on or wreak havoc on the families of the missing.  If you don't have control of sites where comments can be posted then you won't be able to remove comments that are hateful, hurtful and can even manipulate the investigation.

We are here for you.  If you need help with anything just ask!!!

Mary, welcome to Peace4. I didn't find your niece's case in NamUs.gov.   The family can enter the information into there themselves and I highly encourage they do so.  Was an official missing person report filed? Do you have any links to website or FB awareness pages for Lillian?
