- As you all know my husband of 28 years, Jon R. Van Dyke, who was missing was finally placed cruelly in front of me on May 11, 2009, one week shy of the 4 years he had been missing. He supposedly surfaced in Dec 2007, I was informed in January 2008 and then was placed by the legal system through 17 months of wondering (and hell) if this was a hoax or not.
During those 17 months I thank God found and joined Peace4! But, because of the unkowns in the case (had Jon really surfaced?) I did not bring his case on Peace4. I came here to spread the word about the blackmailer that is targeting the families of the missing. And, to help support the families of the missing ... many who I consider friends.
So now my mission is to pass a law to make it illegal for anyone to go maliciously missing and pass it I will!

Families of the Missing: Project Jason announces dates for their 2010 Keys to Healing Retreat - Video included!

- Thank you, I have not had time to look at everthing yet in this site but so far I like what I see.
My mother missing since 1979 was never put in the paper not one news report radio nothing there was not and investigation until three mo. later very long story. But I will tell you that in 2001,.... 23 years later I was the one who pushed and did a lot of the work to have my mothers killer put away and he did get 2nd degree 30 to 60 years but will not tell where he put my mothers body but the eye wittness cant remember. Now you would think that if one helped with hiding the body how could you ever forget such a terrible thing. Its been 30 years this year and still searching the area with volonteers this past Oct. and just maybe I will be able to put her to rest come spring. But I sit here thinking of all the times that nothing was done reading the old reports and thinking these people still have jobs? Sorry to go on but I feel strong about being active because to them you are just a case number and at the end of the day they go home to where they know there family will be. And I thank those that do care with out them you have a negative with out a positive and nothing happens.
