- Dream Catchers for Abused Children - a non for profit organization developed to provide public awareness about child abuse. the more knowledge we have the less power an abuser has. by spreading the word not only are we getting the information out there that people may not know, we are also taking power away from the abusers. and hopefully one day there will be no more child abuse or domestic violence
- What brought you to Peace4? What are you most hoping to accomplish here?
- in 2007 I took my kids and I walked out of an abusive marriage that had lasted for 6 yrs. the abuser had comitted every type of abuse possible to us. he would throw beer cans at my oldest son yell and scream at us be very physically aggressive towrds any or all of us. he pulled a gun on me infront of bothe of my ldest children and my mother, he also turned the gun on her. there had been times where he shot the gun off in the house as well. - this is just a small overview of what we came out of and how we became survivors. And now my oldest son who is 8yrs old is following in my footsteps to help others

- not very long - i want to be one who helps any where and every where I can when it comes to any area of domestic violence. No person should EVER be treated as less than they are. every one should be treated with love and respect and unfortunately there are a lot of people in the world who treat others like slaves and think they need to be beaten or spiritually broken and remolded to suit them. I want to help put a stop to these creatures
- Positive Suggestions/Ways you may be able to improve/contribute to Peace4?
- by letting people know what I did tobecome a survivor. if need be to tell our complete story and if any one sees themselves or someone they know in that situation they can get out before it is too late. even if i tell a million people what we have been through and only one person is saved by it - then it is well worth my time to speak out .
