i understand her fear, i used to wish someone would come to my door and say your husband is dead, after 12 years i take the bull by the horns and divorce him, he died this week, someone ask how i feel i said he has been dead for years,

my abuser died today, i feel sad for my kids, he was there dad but for me i feel closer,
there are many ways to be raped, to him it was rape, he was not willing, his mind said no,
how can we live in this country and not know this is going on, its time this countrys eyes are open, most people close there eyes and hearts to this with the thought its not my problem.

sometimes the past makes us strong,
that is what my daugther says and she is very strong her father was the man in her nightsmares, she told me when she was 36years old, he would tell her that he would kill me in my sleep, she lived this nightm,,from 8 to 14teen, she says she has forgive him, but will never love him, now i see a little girl alone that i could have saved if only she had told. we have to fine a way to let them know that thay can tell,,
