I received information today that 'The Middletown Times Herald Record' in Middletown, New York will publish a story on Nov.8, 2009 about Frederick Andrew Holmes, a 22 month old toddler, now a Cold Case, missing from his home in Grahamsville, New York since May 25, 1955. I will add a link on Sunday, after the article is published. Recent DNA has been obtained from myself and my only surviving sibling. Our parents died in 1968 and 1979. Since I was fourteen at the time of this horrific loss, and a…

Bones were found scattered in Death Valley in March of 2008 and were just positively identified as belonging to my Mom Catherine Lique. I don't have very much information right now but I wanted you guys to know. You have all been so wonderful and supportive. its not the outcome I wanted but it is definitely a relief to know something. I am still in shock right now.

In separate incidents over a four day period in June, two unarmed men were shot and killed by the Miami Beach police. Officer Adam Tavss alone shot Husein Shahada. After passing a psychological exam, he was cleared to go back on the street 72 hours later. That same day Tavss and two others shot and killed Lawrence McCoy, Jr. The Miami Beach Police Department determined that each shooting was a justified use of deadly force. However, not everyone agrees with those findinds. Denny Griffin and I wi…

She never complains. When I’ve had a long stressful day at work, she is always there waiting for me with her beautiful brown eyes. She protects me as though she is ten feet tall, I protect her without ever thinking twice at all.
I really don’t know what I would do with her. She likes to go on long walks in the park. I think it’s because she hates road trips and flying, but she would tell you differently, and that I am lying.
She is always so happy and I wondered how I ever got so lucky. Lately…

When I first saw these words they were in reference to cancer, a disease, which can be life threatening but in light of medical advancement and deterrents, cancer rates are dropping.
But we can’t say the same about domestic violence, we need to ask “why not?’ Shouldn’t law reflect reality? My thoughts go to my…

With the recent and tragic death of little Summer in Florida and the many other children and adults missing almost daily,I decided to start this petition.I was horrified to read in the North Carolina newspaper that they were considering letting hardened criminals back into society and thank god a woman politician stopped that from happening but not final yet.We must all ban together to stop the criminals from getting out of prison and keeping them locked up.What kind of justice is there for the…

Many of us met and came together because of the disappearance of Stacy Peterson. Unbelievably, it's been two years and, in one of the highest profile missing persons cases I've seen, she has not been found.
Susan Murphy Milano was one of the first bloggers who wrote in detail about the case from the very beginning. I thought it would be nice for all of us to remember Stacy.…

State prison officials are reviewing the cases of nearly 15,000 ex-convicts — including people convicted of felonious assault, robbery and rape — after an Ohio Supreme Court ruling raised concerns that some of them were improperly sentenced and must be released from parole supervision.
“These are serious offenders who will not be under supervision,” Julie Walburn of the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction said Tuesda…
