19 year-old Megan Maxwell Disappeared from Newport, TN under suspicious circumstances.

The investigation of a 19-year-old woman's disappearance led to the French Broad River in Newport Monday afternoon.



Police and rescue workers started searching the river shortly before 2:00 p.m. Monday. They were trying to determine what happened to the woman who is missing and believed to be in danger after her car was found alongside the road, destroyed by fire.

WA governor signs 'Eryk's Law'

OLYMPIA - Gov. Chris Gregoire today signed into law a bill known as "Eryk's Law," which aims to protect children from abuse.



The legislation, officially called The Eryk Woodruff Public Safety Act, is named after a Lake Stevens, Wash. boy who was beaten by a babysitter in the fall of 2007.

Ida Dean Richardson-Anderson, 21, missing from Detroit, MI, Wayne County since 9-18-58. I have spoken to her son and will be talking to her sister this weekend. As of now, we can not find an official missing person police report. The family reports one was taken after she disappeared, however, there does not seem to be one on file.
