I am getting tired of sitting in this house everyday all by myself, looking to strangers that I have never met to give me something that I can not have. I am tired of not being able to go to work.. I am tired of having this damn broken leg. I am tired of looking at these same walls I call home and… Continue

A society where everyone is a sociopath
Thursday, 18 June 2009 @ 6:55pm • My Weblog
This week I want to reach out to all of you who feel that you can no longer trust people. Imagine a world where your worst fears have come true, a world where everyone over the age of 15 is a sociopath. What would it be like to live in that world?
If you only read one book this summer, I… Continue

I'm sorry this is off-topic but I just really need to vent. I feel like I'm the only one who cares about making a difference, causes around the world, changing lives and the way we do things and live. If others really care, why aren't they fighting harder? I am looking at the video Michelle Obama was in about she asked us to join together and make a difference. Is that too much to ask? Why is the first lady wrong in asking us to help each other out? People have such sorry sick sad pathetic… Continue

May 24th was the day little Nevaeh Buchanan disappeared. They say she disappeared from the parking lot of her apartment complex that evening, however I'll wait for the final confirmation on that one. This case has had so many twists and turns in stories and accounts that I can not just except these accounts as true, until there is a reenactment done in the court room and a conviction made.
What we do know is that Nevaeh was last seen May 24th, her little body was found on June 4th… Continue

EAST MEADOW, N.Y. — More than 50 years ago, a mother left her stroller outside a Long Island bakery and returned minutes later to find her 2-year-son had vanished.
Police and residents searched ditches and homes for the blond toddler. Investigators chased down leads around the country. But the sensational case soon went cold. No one knew what happened to little Stephen Damman.

God blessed me with a love for any body of water, be it the backyard ponds, the lakes, the rivers and streams. My desire to fish saved my life. Fishing was the one thing I refused to give up. It was and remains non-negotiable. Before the ESPN's Women's Bassmaster Tour, I fished tournaments with my father. My husband didn't fish and refused to have anything to do with my passion for fishing. I've been with the Tour since it's inception in 05. My first tournament would be held on Alabama's Coosa… Continue

It was after 11 pm when Katrina DeHaven called, I said, 2 words, "Hey Katrina". Those who know Katrina...know she starts out talking. She went on to talk about the moon must be in some strange phase because she had a phone call from a friend running from an abusive situation... She said, "You have an… Continue
