Questions that can never be answered haunt Cheryl Feeney.
Feeney's mother, Elizabeth Ferguson, 86, disappeared while driving to a doctor's appointment in May 2008. Six months later, her skeletal remains were found near her 1993… Continue

I have been in CT. for the last six months working on various projects, this Wednesday I will be heading back home to Florida where I will be putting on the finishing touches on the toys for tots run. That has taken some of my time lately and I have not put as much time as I would like In peace4. But that will all change soon. I will be (driving) there and on the way I will be talking and handing out some fliers on Billy's Law, calling your congressman etc. I like the Information Highway but… Continue

I once read a book that changed the challenging times in my life. "Hinds Feet on High Places" by Hannah Hurnard.
One of the hardest things about challenging times or bouts of depression was the feeling that I was back in that "SAME" place again! How would I ever get out of this Place? Well this book is a story about the character Much Afraid and her journey to the top of the Mountain to be with the Shepard. Along her journey to the top of the mountain she ended up going through… Continue

Yes, Virginia there really is a Santa Claus
Yes, Virginia, there really is a Santa Claus. Remember that? It took some doing but the big guy really did convince Virginia that there really is a Santa Claus.
Do you know a child who has lost faith? Many adults have lost faith in that there is a Santa Claus.
Who is your Santa? In my opinion a Santa Claus can be anyone, anything, anywhere, a circumstance, a situation, a karma, a memory, the shape of a cloud in the sky, the… Continue

Well I read Sarah's blog about Closure and it gave me an idea. I hope all can follow along lol ... Hang in there it might make sense by the end...
During a difficult time in my life I made one side of my bedroom door a WALL OF ENCOURAGEMENT I hung a sign for my wall and then began taping all the cards that people had given me to encourage me on the door until it was full. After I hung the sign I realized that the middle of the word encouragement was COURAGE and knew that my friends… Continue

I want my share and I’m sure you do too. It’s definitely not easy, but it seems when it comes to something we want for ourselves, we tend to work extra hard only to find out that the last ‘peace’ was taken.
I want my piece of just the opportunity to achieve peace. I know it sounds selfish, but it seems that blaming others for my lack of peace, is easier than putting all the pieces together to find it.
The last few years in my life have been the best and worst of times. It… Continue

So after almost 3 weeks I have discovered that the greiving for my mother is completely different than how I felt when my dad died.
It is amazing how the body reacts to situations like this. Its amazing how people react to you. Its amazing how no matter how much you think you are prepared and ready for this portion of the journey, you really have no idea.
Especially after 6 years of knowing with 99% feeling that she would never have walked away from us. No calls, no… Continue

I was sitting in the living room having a discussion with my Husband today, and I was remembering a case that was in the 1990's of a couple of young missionaries who had been out on there regular visits to some of thier potential church members. It just so happened that the church member was a younger female in her late 20's early 30's somewhere around that age. I remember that they said she had gotten quite a fixation on one of the missionaries and… Continue

Since attending the CUE conference last year I have increased my prayer life. I met a woman there who took a necklace off her neck and gave it to me. Her daughter had given it to her. It says PUSH which she explained stands for Pray Until Something Happens. I took the necklace and decided to dedicate it to finding my mom and when I find her I will give her the necklace and explain how prayer led to our finding each other again!
Well last week after even new disappointments in my… Continue
