A WALL OF EN COURAGE MENT
Well I read Sarah's blog about Closure and it gave me an idea. I hope all can follow along lol ... Hang in there it might make sense by the end...
During a difficult time in my life I made one side of my bedroom door a WALL OF ENCOURAGEMENT I hung a sign for my wall and then began taping all the cards that people had given me to encourage me on the door until it was full. After I hung the sign I realized that the middle of the word encouragement was COURAGE and knew that my friends encouragement would help give me the courage to get through this tough time. I understood then more than ever what the purpose of encouraging another person was! For the holidays I pray for each of you to be encouraged enough to have the courage it takes to get through the holidays... Therefore I would like to combine that and the idea that Sharing about our missing or deceased loved one is much healthier and uplifting than pretending and start a BLOG of EN COURAGE MENT! So here is how it can work in virtual world. I will share about a couple of members that I know and about my missing or deceased loved one and then you can all do the same. Hopefully we will include as many members as possible! That is if anyone could follow my idea here lol.... So ENJOY and never underestimate the power of Encouragement and a Kind Word at the holidays!

My Mom and Dad may have gone through a lot of guilt after I was kidnapped thinking they should have done something to prevent it but I wish I could talk to them now and share with them. I would tell them that the LOVE that they gave to me in my first three years of life have carried me through so much! I would tell them that I am so much like them and not like my abductor because of those times that they held me close and helped me to feel safe and loved! So instead of feeling guilty I wish that they can feel encouraged to know that the gift of LOVE that they gave me carried me through! Happy Thanksgiving Mom and Dad!
Jan (I always pick on you sorry lol) I just wanted to En courage YOU! I never got to know Billy but I can tell by your love and strength that I would have liked Billy! Please share something special about Billy! I just want to say to Billy that your mom has been a source of strength to so many here. Yes your meek and quiet MOM has become a Powerhouse because of her LOVE for you! Thank you for sharing your mom with all of us here! Thank you Jan for all of your LOVE and strength that you share with me!
Sarah Teague I also want to En courage YOU! I did not know Heather but through her own words that you have shared with many of us I know she is a very wise and beautiful woman! Heather your mom has held a strong and passionate vigil for YOU and shows strength beyond measure because of her LOVE for YOU! Thank you Sarah for all of the times that you share with us even when it is hard!
I want to share about more members but will leave now so that others can share. I also dont want to loose my job by being late lol!!!!

FindMyWayHome this is a great blog! I'm not commenting just yet as I'm thinking....me thinking? that could be scary! So watch for a comment from me at a later date. But, I will say you put the word "courage" in encouragement. I'm in awe of all you've been through and more importantly all you've transcended.....you are COURAGE! :)
