Hi guys. I had this thought and wanted to share it in prose. Written for my Christy who has turned into quiet the young woman and truly is a blessing to her mother and me.

Daddys Don't Hug Their Babies (Enough)
She was sitting in the chair in her pretty pink dress.
A tiny pink bow in her pretty blond hair.
Daddy can I go outside and play.
There she stood up all messed her knees all scratched.
Daddy, please hug the hurt away.
She sneaked out of the house when
When he got there she was waiting in line
With his big strong hand he brushed her face.
And she cried, dady , please hug the hurt away.
Daddy's don't hug their babies enough
Whatever happened to saying I'm sorry
These modern days have done away
Babies enough anymore these days.
