The ALL important "Help Find the Missing Act" (Billy's Law) has been introduced to Congress.

It's now our DUTY to all missing persons and their families to do all we can to get this passed.

This is THE most important NATIONAL legislation for missing persons. DO YOUR PART to ensure that in the future cases will be handled properly on a national level.

Can we make this more simplified so that folks will act on this? Can you post a letter that others can then utilize to contact their Congressmen? It only takes a few minutes to make contact with your Federal Legislators to try and get Co Sponsors for the bill. The more co sponsors, better the chances . There will NOT be another bill like this one. The Congressman has met with the proper authorities and with the 18,000 LE departments in the country (some with no internet access) H.R. 3695 was written in a way for the best chances to pass. If you carefully read the Act it includes incentives for Law enforcement to learn the databases including NAMUS and CODIS, the collection of DNA by Medical examiners/ coroners of remains before being destroyed or stored.
THIS IS HUGE!
Everyone is in this together we encourage H.R 3695 to be on all sites. Lets make it happen.

I am on it, will make sure our law makers are aware of Billy's Law. I will also mention it during the Squeaky Wheel Tour in Michigan on Oct. 27, 2009. Some politiians and LE will be there at that time. We are also doing a presentation at Olivet College on Oct. 14, 2009 for their entire criminal justice program and another one for the general campus, I will bring it up then as well.
