Voice Platform and Support Network for Families of Missing and Victims of Crime
![]()
I was on Face Book today and I was just watching all the people post and all the things being posted and I realized how much we as a community of networks are doing our best to find and help those that are missing.
What I find truely amazing though is how those who have a person missing are our biggest supporters and our biggest advocates.
This is Thanksgiving day 2010, and on this day I know that there are still many people out there doing the work tirelessly to find the people they are missing and advocates that are working tirelessly to find the missing that they so hope to help find.
Its really funny how life can skip a beat, how we can enjoy our time away from it all and get back in step with the task at hand. Still it boggles my mind, how people with missing loved ones can get out there on days when they know families are sharing a meal and laughter, stories and love, kindness and thankfulness, all the while someone is missing from them.
They may be missing someone they used to laugh at, talk with, share stories with. They may be missing a friend, a lover, a soul mate.
Yet with a smile on their faces and kindness and words of grace for others, they trudge through the pain and heartache that they feel, the emptyness and the loss that they feel, just so they can help others to find their missing loved ones too.
If you don't see this as HOPE,LOVE AND CHARITY, THEN YOU ARE COMPLETELY AND TRUELY BLIND.
HEROES EVERY ONE OF THEM. EVERY ONE OF YOU.
