I was on Face Book today and I was just watching all the people post and all the things being posted and I realized how much we as a community of networks are doing our best to find and help those that are missing.

What I find truely amazing though is how those who have a person missing are our biggest supporters and our biggest advocates.

This is Thanksgiving day 2010, and on this day I know that there are still many people out there doing the work tirelessly to find the people they are missing and advocates that are working tirelessly to find the missing that they so hope to help find.

Its really funny how life can skip a beat, how we can enjoy our time away from it all and get back in step with the task at hand. Still it boggles my mind, how people with missing loved ones can get out there on days when they know families are sharing a meal and laughter, stories and love, kindness and thankfulness, all the while someone is missing from them.

They may be missing someone they used to laugh at, talk with, share stories with. They may be missing a friend, a lover, a soul mate.

Yet with a smile on their faces and kindness and words of grace for others, they trudge through the pain and heartache that they feel, the emptyness and the loss that they feel, just so they can help others to find their missing loved ones too.

If you don't see this as HOPE,LOVE AND CHARITY, THEN YOU ARE COMPLETELY AND TRUELY BLIND.

HEROES EVERY ONE OF THEM. EVERY ONE OF YOU.

Sometimes when there is a need we just have to put ourselves out there and not ask questions like why am I doing this. Really its about just taking ahold of the project and doing our best to help those who need our help. We dont need to know what the rewards are because the rewards are in the task. Just doing to help others is the reward in itself. What a blessing to know that you can give service to your fellow man.

Wonderful letter you have written. Yes we may be the biggest supporters or biggest advocators BUT without the help of all those here on Facebook or MySpace who care, our messages would not be heard by so many others and by the media which we so need to help find our loved ones. Thank you for your message and ALL of you who support us and care! You keep the Hope Alive for so many of us! Thanks! ~ Stephen Watkins

Isn't it so true though? What Gwennie has expressed here ... I will never stop being amazed by the ability of those here - that have been forced to endure the most hellish walk of life of having a loved one missing ...... how can it be that THEY so often are the very ones most comforting and supporting us all??? It must be a God thing" no doubt ...

Sara you are my hero too, if it were not for you, Delilah and angie it would not have come about that this site began. Through your visions people now have a place to find comfort and share their voices to the world. For this you are a hero.

John you are one of my dearest and most treasured friends. I love you dearly. You have blossomed since coming here and joining us. We watched you grow into the advocate for the missing that you are. Each day you bless us for being who you are.

Treasures from the heart of God.
