The days go by and your still gone....
It's only the Lord that keeps me strong...
I see your pictures, your smile, your beautiful face,
And I wonder How did we get to this place....

I wish I could turn back the hands of time...
To hold you as baby, when I knew you would be fine...
Your first steps, your first words...I remember them well....
Now your gone and I;m going through hell.....

It hurts so bad I can't find the words to explain....
MY HEART IS BROKEN INTO PIECES, SHATTERED....AND FULL OF PAIN
My eyes are swollen from all the tears I've cried....
I left up my head and look up at the heavens in the sky....

I hear the Lords voice and he says....... "MY CHILD THINGS WILL BE FINE"
"I AM AT WORK IN THIS SITUATION.....EVERYTHING WILL HAPPEN IN IT'S TIME"

"TRUST IN ME AND I WILL CARRY YOU THROUGH, JUST KEEP THE FAITH AND ONE DAY SOON YOUR
DAUGHTER WILL BE BACK HOME WITH YOU...."

thank you so much for your comments. and for you to share with me your poems as well. They truly touch me and I feel that poems help us deal with the pain in our hearts....no matter how much the pain may be, we have to keep hope and have faith....and be strong...My faith is the only thing that keeps me going and the love for my daughter...I feel blessed to have you all part of my life....

"A hollow place,
Where once my heart stood strong,
A darker place,
where no light reaches
and everything just feels wrong......
That's where I've been living,
Every since you've been gone.....
Days turn into nights,
mornings into evenings
thats where I've been hiding
since you've been gone......
Storms and thunder rolling through
this dark and hollow place,
but no one seems to know what to do,
to solve the riddles to this case......
Human spirits reach across,
this dark and hollow space,
others knowing, painfully true,
what it feels like, in this place,
A dark and hollow corridor
the sad irony of the human race " Christy H version 1

A Mother Must Know
When a child is born, a mother weeps, for htere is no other joy as fulfilling as God's miracle of life, of love! When a mother holds that fragile little hand in hers, hse is overwhelmed with a need to protect, to care for..When a mother hears that first cry, she understands the meaning of God's love! Sheis holding a miracle in her arms! In her baby's eyes, she sees for the first time..HOPE! She envisions the growing up..all the firsts a mtoher records and treasures in her heart. Sheis a mother and there will never be such a precious memory! The angels in heaven surely rejoice at the sight! A sacred celebration..a mother and her child, gonded forever, and they embrace life!
When a mother's child is taken away and she does not know where her precious child is, there is no anguish t cmpare. A broken-heart adn spirit cry out in despair for time to give back the last time. oh, just to see, to touch, to hear, to be with that child again! overwhelmed by such helplessnes and hoplessness..Where is my child? The dreams of hope for a blessed reunion have become a nightmare named, 'reality'. We are a statistic. One of 'ours' is mising! Our world is shattered. Home is now a broken-hearted place awaiting the news. Tears, screams and prayers are heard 'round the clock! How can another human being just take anohter and hide the truth from a family? Could any crime be so unmerdiful? So sickening? So cruel? Not knowing if your child is alive, not knowing where your child sleeps, if your child is cold or hungry or afraid or in pain....or worse!
In every passing car, a mother sees her child. Yet she must search in wells, abandoned houses, oil tanks and she must watch as lakes are dragged...Many miles of land are walked in search of this child's remains..A mother calls her child's name in the empty barns, secretly hoping maybe her child is in there..hurt and hiding..waiting to be found. A mother follows a buzzards trail to the top of a hill, falling down to her knees realizing what she was looking for. Whatever has happend to a mother's child..she must know! Every rumor becomes a 'what-if' picture in a mother's heart. Her child's fear and screams for help echo every second in her mind. Her breath was literally taken the day her child was taken from her.
Won't someone just tell this mother where her child is? Won't someone bring this mother's child home?
There is no peace without a good-bye. There is no dignity without a resting place. Every human being born deserves honor in their last breath as well as their first. Broken-hearts cannot heal until a mother knows where her child is.
Someone knows where this mother's child sleeps tonight. They lie down, tucking in their own children, and forgot about mine.

Maybe tomorrow, my Heather will be home! I believe in miracles!

There is no crime as unmerciful as to not know where your child is...All we want is the truth. 'A Mother Must Know'
Thank you for sharing your 'heart' with us. A few of us, too many of us, know your pain and your heartache and our hearts ache with yours as you search for your child and hope for that day when she is revealed. Matthew 10:26

Your love for your daughter is so evident in this poem. It's that very love that will guide her home.
