To Miranda Rhuda and Peace4 members who fight every day for their missing loved ones. I think probably the greatest fight of all is the tears we fight back as we pray, anticipate, and await new hope of phone call, a messgae, a knock on the door. Thank God Jesus is already there hearing our sighs and seeing our tears. I pray today you feel his love for you and let Jesus caress you in his loving arms taking hope in his ability to provide us strength in our greatest weakness, fulfillment in our greatest desire, warmth in the face of cold winds of aloofness and the bite of uncaring glances.
Mother of Miranda Rhuda, Joyce Patterson, is found and is at peace with God and is in the loving arms of Jesus. We love Peace4 member Miranda and our praywers are for her and all the family.
Lazarus was a friend of Jesus. Lazarus passed away. Jesus wept. Why? We do not know. We do not need a reason to weep and we do not question it. Tears are a gift from God that helps cleanse our hearts, thoughts, and impressoins. Even our depressions as I have learned in the past two years.
But the weeping lasted for only a short while becuase Jesus spoke and new life through Lazarus walked out of that tomb.
We see oursleves today. We have our present circumstances for which we work dialy and we wait and hope. Then comes a change as yours did after twelve long years.
Then Jesus speak s and change happens. Ms. Joyce is found. She is released to be with Jesus and she as a lost and missing person is released from our hearts to be with Jesus. She is free today.
Now we ourselves have our own tomb to walk out of at the beckon of Jesus with his gift to us and answer to prayers. We shed the tomb clothes. We unbind what binds us. We recognize what Jesus did for us. We pick up the bat.We step up to the plate and hit the ball of opportunity to release our ownselves into the new growth and freedom Jesus has provided for us.
Healing will be provided each day thorugh friends andloved ones. But most of all through Christ and the community that he has provided for us.
Here's to you daughter Miranda and mom Joyce Patterson;
TEARS DON'T LAST FOREVER(THEY COME AND THEN THEY GO.)
To Miranda:
Have you ever had a sleepless night alone in misery?
The pain and hurt would be so great nothing would bring relief.
But as the dawn would break and so a new day could be seen.
Your heart would then be lifted up and gone would be the grief.
Have you ever walked in Jesus' steps or traveled down life's road?
The burden seems so heavy and it seems you cannot go.
But as the dawn would break and through the darkness shines the light.
Sorrow surrenders to God's grace and and gone will be the night.
Though your burdens be so heavy you think you cannot stand.
Though the trials be so hard to bear God will never let you down.
Though the sun may not be so bright and clouds may hang so low.
Tears don't last foreever...
They come and then they go. (copyright Jim Harnage)
To beloved daughter and the greatest mom in the world Joyce Darlene Patterson. Rest In Peace and God love you.
