There are two other ways to spot a liar...1) a good liar always tells you something true that he/she figures you already know. The idea is: you know that is true so you believe the rest of the story and 2) often times liars elaborate and add more than you asked for, rather than just saying yes, no, or I don't know. Sadly I have much experience listening to liars but have gotten pretty good at spotting them.
